Principal Residence Exemption

Did you sell a home in 2016?  Canada Revenue Agency now requires you to report the sale on your personal income tax return regardless of whether it was a principal residence or not.  The sale of a principal residence continues to be exempt for income tax purposes but reporting the sale is now mandatory.
